Privacy policy
I collect the bare minimum and use it to reply to people who write to me. Below: what, why, for how long, and who to ask.

Who is the controller
The data controller is Giacomo Coppo, sole proprietorship, Via Raffaldi 27, 15027 Pontestura (AL), Italy, VAT no. IT02717270066.
For any request about your data, write to jackcoppomarketing@gmail.com.
What data I handle and why
I only handle the data you give me or that the site records while you browse. These are the cases.
- Contact requests. The name, surname, email, company and message you write in the form, or whatever you send me by email, phone or WhatsApp. I use it to reply and, if needed, to prepare a quote. Legal basis: your request and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form sends nothing to the site's servers: it opens your email app with the message already written, and it only goes out when you press send.
- Browsing data. IP address, browser type, pages visited and time are logged by the hosting systems to run the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics and marketing. Only if you accept them in the banner. How they work is explained in the cookie policy. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
Who receives the data
I don't sell data and I don't use it for anything else. It can be seen by the providers I need to run the site and my work, acting as processors:
- Vercel Inc., for hosting the site.
- Google, for email (Gmail) and, only if you consent, for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Google Search Console is for me, to check how the site appears in search, and does not identify you.
- Collaborators and professionals who work with me on a project, only when needed to answer your request and bound by confidentiality.
Transfers outside the European Union
Vercel and Google are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long I keep it
- Contact requests with no follow-up: up to 24 months after the last exchange.
- If a collaboration starts: for its whole duration and then for the period the law requires for tax and accounting records (10 years).
- Browsing logs: for the short period set by the hosting provider.
- Analytics data: for the period set in the tool (14 months for Google Analytics).
Do you have to provide it?
No. But without a name and a way to reach you I can't reply. Accepting or refusing cookies changes nothing about what you can read and do on the site.
Your rights
At any time you can ask me to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format (portability) or object to the processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like without affecting what happened before. Write to jackcoppomarketing@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days.
If you believe your data is being handled improperly you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
I don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
Links to other sites
The site links to external services (for example my crew's social profiles). Once you're there, their own policies apply: I don't control their data.
Updates
If I change how I handle data I'll update this page and the date above. For cookies see also the cookie policy.
